Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of comparative effectiveness and contribution tax billing forced letter on KPP Pratama Padang and KPP Pratama Bukittinggi. This type of research is descriptive quantitative comparative method (comparison). The types and sources of data derived from primary data and secondary data, as well as data collection method used is the method of documentation and interview methods to the billing on KPP Pratama Padang and KPP Pratama Bukittinggi the data that has been obtained, that is data on the number forced letter that has been published , the data forced letter that has been paid delinquent taxes, as well as the amount of tax revenue on KPP Pratama Padang and KPP Pratama Bukittinggi in particular for the years 2011 through 2013. Comparison of the effectiveness of tax collection forced letter on KPP Pratama Padang that the average value of 92.12% with the criteria of effectiveness that is "effective", while on KPP Pratama Bukittinggi is the average value of 31.38% with the criteria of effectiveness, namely "ineffective". Comparison contribution tax billing forced letter on KPP Pratama Padang from 2011 until 2013 in the amount of 31.99%, 18.78% and 7.65%. With the criteria fairly well, less and very less. As for the KPP Pratama Bukittinggi contributions is with a percentage of 51.18%, 35.06% and 7.55%. With the contribution criteria obtained with the KPP Pratama Bukittinggi criteria very well, fairly well, and very less.
