Abstract

Essential oil from Rose oil has successfully extracted by enfleurage and maceration method. Enfleurage method using shortening as adsorben and hexane as a solvent. Maceration method using hexane solvent. The chemical components from essential oil were determined by using GC-MS. Based on the result of GC-MS essential oil which extracted by enfleurage method has different quality with essential oil which extracted by maceration. Most of essential oil components extracted by enfleurage method were oxygenated hydrocarbon group, including oleic acid. Meanwhile the components of essential oil extracted by maceration divided into oxygenatedhydrocarbon group including2,3-Dihydroxypropyl elaidat and terpen group including α-Guaiene
