Abstract

Risk of health problems that threaten the walfare of adolescents, among others confused role, learning difficulties, juvenile delinquency and risk sexual behaviour. Indonesian Family Planning Association Data (IPPA) Cemara (2013) from Padang city teenagers risk sexual behavior from watching and seeing pornographic magazines, holding hands, hugging, kissing, sexual humor, masturbation, lesbian get pregnant outside of marriage. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control with risk sexual behavior of teenagers in senior high school Bunda Padang 2016. This research is a correlation with the data test correlation. Sampling was done by proportional random sampling with a sample size of 99 people. The results of the univariate analysis the average value of self-control variable in adolescents at high school Bunda Padang 2016 was 29.17 with a standard deviation of ± 4.719, and the total value of minimum 18 and a maximum value of 40. At-risk sexual behavior variables obtained average value 27.98 with a standard deviation of ± 10.034 and the number of the lowest value and the highest 14 57. the results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a strength relationship (r = -0.406) between self-control with risky sexual behavior and a significant association (p = 0.000). Expected to the school in collaboration with the Guidance and Counselling, parents, and health centers for about providing reproductive health education to adolescents and provide education about values, norms, and how to improve self-control so that no occurrence of risk sexualbehavior.
