Abstract

Dalam penyusunan skripsi mahasiswa mempunyai berbagai kendala atau masalah yang dihadapi, baik diawal maupun diakhir. Banyaknya kendala yang dihadapi menyebabkan mahasiswa rentan mengalami stres. Sebanyak 86,8% mahasiswa mengalami stres sedang dalam penyusunan skripsi. Untuk mengurangi dampak dari stres maka diperlukan komponen kognitif atau self efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dengan tingkat stres mahasiswa keperawatan Program B 2015 dalam menyelesaikan skripsi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasi dengan menggunakan uji correlation. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 66 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Andalas Padang dari tanggal 13 – 15 Desember 2016. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata self efficacy pada mahasiswa adalah 92,64 dan rata-rata tingkat stres pada mahasiswa adalah 15,56. Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara self efficacy dengan tingkat stres dengan kekuatan hubungan sedang (r = -0,597) dan arah negatif. Diharapkan kepada dosen pembimbing yang sulit ditemui dan menunda-nunda bimbingan agar selalu mengarahkan, memotivasi dan memberikan waktu kepada mahasiswa untuk bimbingan. The total sample of 66 people with the sampling technique total sampling. Data collection is done at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Andalas Padang from the date of December 13 to 15, 2016. The results showed the average self-efficacy in students was 92.64 and the average level of stress in students was 15.56. There is a significant relationship between self efficacy with stress levels with the power connection was (r = -0.597) and a negative direction. Expected to lecturers who are difficult to find and procrastinate guidance to always direct, motivate and give time to students for guidance.
