Abstract

Depresi sering terjadi pada usia 15 sampai 24 tahun. Berdasarkan riskesdas tahun 2013 prevelensi di Indonesia menunjukkan sebesar 6% untuk usia 15 tahun keatas. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan depresi adalah pola asuh orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan tingkat depresi remaja di SMKN 1 Padang . Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 289 remaja yang diambil secara proporsionate stratifed random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji chi-square. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari kuesioner Parental Bonding Instrumen (PBI) dan Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden 58,8% tidak depresi dan hampir setengah 42,2% responden dengan pola asuh demokratis. Hasil uji statistik chi-square menunjukan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pola asuh orang tua dengan tingkat depresi remaja di SMKN 1 Padang dengan nilai p=0,000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diharapkan orang tua dapat menerapkan bentuk pola asuh yang tepat sehingga anak tidak mengalami depresi. The prevalence in Indonesia showed 6% for ages 15 and older, or about 14 million people experiencing mental emotional disorder. One of the factors that cause depression are parenting parents. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting parents with teen depression levels in Vocational high School 1 padang. The design of this research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted to 289 adolescents were taken proporsionate stratifed random sampling. This study uses a chi-square test. Results showed that most of the respondents 58.8% were depressed and almost half the 42.2% of respondents with democratic parenting. The results of chi-square statistical test showed no significant relationship anatara parenting parents with teen depression levels in SMK 1 Padang with p = 0.000. Based on this research, it is hoped parents can apply appropriate forms of parenting with teens situations so that the child does not get depressed.
