Abstract
The Impact of Work Engagement to Individual Performance among Team Member Programme (TMP) AIESEC Andalas University Wyke Dymas Pratiwi1) Fitria Rahmi, M.Psi, Psikolog2) Anisa Aziza, M.Psi., Psikolog3) 1) Psychology Student of Medical Faculty Andalas University 2) Lecturer of Psychology Departement, Medical Faculty Andalas University 3) Lecturer of Psychology Departement, Medical Faculty Andalas University ABSTRACT Performance is an optimal achievement corresponding to the potential possessed by an individual by comparing how far individual’s activity in performing the duty assigned to them and striving to achieve the goal on the period that has been set (Robbins, 2006). Based on this, organization needs role of work engagement as the key of organizational successful and predictor to determine individual performance. The purpose of this research is to know about the impact of work engagement to individual performance Team Member Programme (TMP) AIESEC Andalas University. The method of this research is quantitative through saturated sample in 79 people in the management of AIESEC Andalas University 2015/2016 was examined. Scale measurement of work engagement was conducted by using UWES (Utrecth Work Engagement Scale) which consisted of 16 items with reliability of 0.871 and individual performance measurement was obtained from the Performance Appraisal (PA) AIESEC Andalas University. The value of F calculated and significance ( p-value) showed that work engagement might affect the individual performance of the member in TMP AIESEC Andalas University, and the R2 value of 0.83 indicated that the contribution of work engagement affected the individual performance is 83%. Based on this result, the research hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: work engagement, individual performance, team member
