Abstract

PT. Kerta Gaya Pusaka has been one of the oldest expedition companies in Indonesia since 1969 and delivers goods around Indonesia. PT. Kerta Gaya Pusaka is not well-known in public because the company cooperates with banks, tax companies, insurance companies, and other big companies. In goods delivery, the risk of damaged or lost goods is the main unwanted risk for every expedition company and customer. So far, PT. Kerta Gaya Pusaka still does not have a written and detailed description of the risk. The company also has no list of prioritized risks from the most important to the least important. These conditions put the company in an unfavorable position because this could put the company in a catastrophic situation that could be avoided and cause a critical decision to be taken without complete information or adequate knowledge. This research will discuss risk management analysis as a consideration of risk mitigation at PT. Kerta Gaya Pusaka using the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method. Data collection is done by observing the goods delivery processes, interviewing the workers, and using a questionnaire at PT. Kerta Gaya Pusaka to find out the possible risks, the effect of the risks, the cause, and current control by the company.
