Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan penderita tuberkulosis dalam menjalani pengobatan di Kota Padang pada masa pandemi Covid-19 tahun 2021. Metode. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional study dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 80 orang yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 67,5% penderita TB patuh dalam menjalani pengobatan di Kota Padang pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi-square didapatkan pengetahuan berhubungan dengan kepatuhan penderita tuberkulosis dalam menjani pengobatan dengan nilai p-value 0,001 (PR = 12,6; 95% CI= 4,08-39,37). Selain itu kepatuhan tidak berhubungan dengan akses pelayanan kesehatan (p-value 0,206), ketersediaan OAT (p-value 0,592), dan pemeriksaan dahak (p-value 0,592) tidak berhubungan dengan kepatuhan pendenderita tuberkulosis. Kesimpulan. Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan penderita tuberkulosis dalam menjalani pengobatan di Kota Padang pada masa pandemi Covid-19 tahun 2021. Diharapkan kedua puskesmas dapat meningkatkan edukasi kesehatan khususnya TB tidak hanya pada penderita tetapi juga masyarakat di wilayah kerjanya. This study aims to determine the factors related to the compliance of tuberculosi patients in undergoing in the city of Padang during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021. Method. The results of the study showed that 67,5% of TB patients were obedient in undergoing treatment in Padang City during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the results of the chi-square test showed that knowledge was related to the adherence of tuberculosis patients to treatment with p-value 0,001 (PR = 12,6; 95% CI= 4,08-39,37). In addition, compliance isn’t related to access to health service (p-value 0,206), availability of OAT (p-value 0,592), and sputum examination (p-value 0,592) is not related to adherence in tuberculosis patients. Conclusion. There is a relationship between knowledge and adherence to tuberculosis sufferers in undergoing treatment in Padang City during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is hoped that the two health centers can improve health education especially TB, not only for patients but also the community in their working areas.
