Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, leverage, profitability, sales growth and activity on financial distress in Primary Consumer Goods Sector Companies. The type of data in this study is secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample in this study amounted to 235 samples selected by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 26 program. The results showed that liquidity with CR proxy had a negative effect on financial distress. Leverage with DR proxy has no effect on financial distress. Profitability with ROA proxy has a positive effect on financial distress. Sales growth has a negative effect on financial distress and activities with the TATO proxy have a negative effect on financial distress.Keywords : Liquidity, Leverage, Profitability, Sales Growth, Activity, Financial Distress.
