Abstract

This study aims to describe the financial condition and viewing capabilities West Sumatra Provincial Government in managing the financial area by analyzing the components of the financial statements and describes the post - post these reports become more detailed information unit as well as analysis of financial ratios such as the ratio of the independence, effectiveness ratio and the ratio efficiency. Data used in this research is secondary data while the data source in this study are the financial statements of West Sumatra Provincial Government consisting of LRA, Balance Sheet, and the SAR. Testing data using qualitative descriptive method. Results from this study showed that the accounting policies applied in the post - post financial reports in accordance with the provisions SAP No. 71 In 2010, in addition to the level of independence primarily in favor of regional autonomy already quite high and the level of effectiveness and efficiency in the area of financial management has also been effective and efficient.
