Abstract

The development of information technology is currently very popular among information users, one example is the website. One of the important aspects that affect the quality of a website is usability. Usability shows how easily a website can be used by users. The Unand library website is a library information system that can help facilitate teaching and learning needs. Based on a preliminary survey conducted on Unand students who use the Unand library website, it was found that 97% of the respondents had several complaints, so it was necessary to do a review through usability analysis. Usability analysis aims to determine whether the design has problems for its users and to collect qualitative and quantitative data to determine the level of user satisfaction. Usability analysis was carried out using the USE Questionnaire. This USE Questionnaire covers three aspects of usability according to ISO, namely efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction, so that it is suitable for use in this research. Respondents in this study were Andalas University students, as many as 103 respondents who had accessed the Unand library for one month. The results of this study indicate that the overall Unand library website has a usability value of 75% and is included in the feasible category. Based on the average usability calculation results, the usefulness indicator is 74%, the ease of use indicator is 74%, the ease of learning indicator is 76%, and the satisfaction indicator is 73%.
