Abstract

This study was made with the purpose of identifying the influence of COVID-19 pandemic to patient safety climate of medical healthcare staff in RSUD Solok Selatan, with using Safety Attitude Questionnaire by Sexton. Today, the world was getting worst because of the pandemic cause by a virus that first founded in China. More than 1000 people get infect every days. Make the medical healthcare staffs need to work harder to handle the patient in the hospital in order to avoid to become affected. The sample criteria in this research all of the medical healthcare staff that work to handle the patient in this pandemic COVID-19 era. The sample collected is 120 respondents. The results of this research indicated that COVID-19 era bring the effect to Patient Safety Climate of medical healthcare staff in Solok Hospital. sexton et al describe the Safety Attitude in 8 dimensions, such as; teamwork climate, job satisfaction, stress recognition, working condition, emotional exhaustion, perception of management, safety climate, and work-life balance. From the 8 dimensions safety climate is the variable as the dependent in order to measure the patient safety based on medical healthcare staff perception.
