Abstract

In this area of globalization now country will be growing over time, the economy is the biggest influence for a country to be able to grow and forwad rapidly. This economy is driven by the actors businesses that his journey has constrain that often occure in the process of fulfilling the right and obligation of each party. Therefore it takes a container of dispute resolution, who perceived flexible to meet the wishes of his party, and everything is regulated theirein best on desire of each party. Arbitration is a despute resolution in who referred to, but the parties was sometimes still have a little wander seeking arbitration is considered balanced for wear and weight the laws of both businesses which often differ from each other. And in this businesses dispute requires the basic rules that serve as the basis of resolving the dispute and has been authorized by the United Nations commission on International Trade Law in 1985 witch was amended in 2006 the UNCITRAL Arbitration Model Law On International Commercial Arbitration, procedures for the settlement of a dispute, in this case Karaha Bodas Vs Pertamina and PLN are determined by the parties who the despute, based on UNCITRAL Arbitration Model Law On International Commercial Arbitration as the basic rules that from the basic guidelines in the resolution of the dispute. Conclution in this research UNCITRAL Arbitration Model Law On International Commercial Arbitration as basic for dispute settlement rules to guide the settlement of dispute, including the basic rules of procedural disputes in arbitration, because there are still other alternative dispute resolution.
