Abstract

Diabetic ulcer is the one of chronic complication of diabetic melitus such as open wound with the necrotic tissues. Aerobic bacteria is the most common bacterial pathogens found in diabetic ulcer. This study intend to determine resistance pattern of aerobic bacteria in diabetic ulcer to some antibiotics in Microbiologi Laboratory RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang period 2011 to 2013. The research method used is descriptive and retrospective was conducted from April to May 2014 in Microbiologi Laboratory RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. All of population used as the research samples who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of samples is 148 cases by using the total sampling. Then data were processed and analyzed using Microsoft Office Excel and presentated in the form of a frequency distribution table. From 148 cases are men (54%) had a higher number compared to women (46%) and the age range of most patients is about 50-59 years (45%). Aerobic bacteria that cause diabetic ulcer are Klebsiella sp (34%), Staphylococcus aureus (30%), Proteus mirabilis (12%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (10%), Proteus vulgaris (7%), Enterobactersp (2%), Streprococcus sp (1%), Escherichia coli (1%), and Staphylococcus epidermidis (1%). Resistant result show Klebsiella sp sensitive to Meropenem (43%), Sulbactam + Cefeperazone (43%) and Netilmicin (30%). Staphylococcus aureus sensitive to Netilmicin (80%), Sulbactam + Cefeperazone (68%) and Meropenem (55%). Proteus mirabilis sensitive to Sulbactam + Cefeperazone (100%), Meropenem (66%) and Ceftriaxone (47%). Pseudomonas aeruginosa sensitive to Meropenem (43%), Netilmicin (22%) and Sulbactam + Cefeperazone (17%). Proteus vulgaris sensitive to Meropenem (75%), Netilmicin (50%) and Ampicillin + Sulbactam acid (33%). Klebsiella sp resistant to Erythromicin (97%), Ampicillin (95%) and Chloramphenicol (93%). Staphylococcus aureus resistant to Cefixime (100%), Ampicillin (90%), and Erythromicin (65%). Proteus mirabilis resistant to Erythromicin (100%), Amoxicillin (100%), Ampicillin (87%), Chloramphenicol (87%) and Ciprofloxacin (87%). Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant to Ampicillin (100%), Chloramphenicol (100%), Sulfamethroxazole + Trimethropime (100%), Ceftriaxone (100%), Cefixime (100%), Amoxicillin (100%), and Amoxicillin + Clavulanic acid (100%). Proteus vulgaris resistant to Cefixime (100%), Tetracyclin (100%), Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid (100%), and Ampicillin (93%).
