Abstract
Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah tanpa mulsa + 60 g/tan pupuk NPK, tanpa mulsa + 15 g/tan pupuk ZA + 37,5 g/tan pupuk SP-36 + 18,75 g/tan pupuk KCl, biomulsa Arachis pintoi + 60 g/tan pupuk NPK, biomulsa Arachis pintoi + 15 g/tan pupuk ZA + 37,5 g/tan pupuk SP-36 + 18,75 g/tan pupuk KCl, mulsa plastik hitam perak + 60 g/tan pupuk NPK, dan mulsa plastik hitam perak + 15 g/tan pupuk ZA + 37,5 g/tan pupuk SP-36 + 18,75 g/tan pupuk KCl. Kata kunci: terung belanda, mulsa, biomulsa, pupuk anorganik Tamarillo is a plant that is responsive to drought and grows well in areas with sufficient nutrient content. The use of mulch can help maintain soil moisture and fertilizers can meet the nutrients needed by tamarillo plants. The research aims to obtain the best combinations of mulch and inorganic fertilizers for the growth of tamarillo (Cyphomondra betacea). This research was conducted in Nagari Aia Batumbuak, Gunuang Talang District, Solok Regency from January to July 2020. The design used was a randomized block design consisting of 6 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments used were without mulch + 60 g/plant of NPK fertilizer, without mulch + 15 g/plant of ZA fertilizer + 37.5 g/plant of SP-36 fertilizer + 18.75 g/plant of KCl fertilizer, Arachis pintoi biomulch + 60 g/plant of NPK fertilizer, Arachis pintoi biomulch + 15 g/plant of ZA fertilizer + 37.5 g/plant of SP-36 fertilizer + 18.75 g/plant of KCl fertilizer, silver black plastic mulch + 60 g/plant of NPK fertilizer, and silver black plastic mulch + 15 g/plant of ZA fertilizer + 37.5 g/plant of SP-36 fertilizer + 18.75 g/plant of KCl fertilizer. The results showed that the application of several combinations of mulch and inorganic fertilizers had a significant effect on the growth of tamarillo on the variables of plant height, number of leaves, and the longest leaf length. Silver black plastic mulch + 60 g/plant of NPK fertilizer can increase the growth of tamarillo and suppress the growth of weeds. Key words: tamarillo, mulch, biomulch, inorganic fertilizers
