Abstract

RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN SELADA MERAH (Lactuca sativa L.) DENGAN PEMBERIAN BEBERAPA JENIS PUPUK ORGANIK ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang respons pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada merah (Lactuca sativa L.) dengan pemberian beberapa jenis pupuk organik telah dilaksanakan di Limau Manis, Kec. Pauh, Kota Padang, Provinsi Sumatera Barat dengan ketinggian 205 meter di atas permukaan laut (mdpl) dari bulan Maret sampai Mei 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respons pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L.) dengan pemberian beberapa jenis pupuk organik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pupuk tinja, pupuk kandang ayam, pupuk kandang sapi dan pupuk kandang kambing dengan dosis yang sama 20 ton/ha (125 g/polybag). Pengamatan terdiri dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, panjang daun terpanjang, bobot segar per tanaman, diameter batang, panjang akar dan analisis antosianin. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji F pada taraf 5%, hasil analisis data yang berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut DNMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan dari pemberian berbagai jenis pupuk organik pada tanaman selada merah, pemberian pupuk kandang ayam memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap jumlah daun 15 helai, luas daun 68,83 cm, panjang daun 10,21 cm, dan bobot segar pertanaman 63,84 g/tanaman. Kata kunci: selada merah, pupuk organik,antosianin GROWTH RESPONSE AND YIELD OF RED LETTUCA (Lactuca sativa L.) WITH THE APPLICATION OF SEVERAL TYPES OF ORGANIC FERTILIZER Abstract Research on the growth response and yield of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) with the application of several types of organic fertilizers was conducted in Limau Manis, Kec. Pauh, Padang City, West Sumatra Province with an altitude of 205 meters above sea level (masl) from March to May 2020. This study aims to determine the growth response and yield of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) by the application of several types of organic fertilizers. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 levels of treatment and 4 replications. The treatments in this study were manure, chicken manure, cow manure and goat manure at the same dose of 20 tons / ha (125 g / polybag). Observations consisted of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, longest leaf length, fresh weight per plant, stem diameter, root length and anthocyanin analysis. Data were analyzed using the F test at the 5% level, when the results of the data analysis were significantly different, followed by the DNMRT further test at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of several types of organic fertilizers on the red lettuce, the application of several chicken manure gave the best results for plant height 13.57 cm, number of leaves 15, leaf area 68.83 cm, longest leaf length 10.21 cm, and plant fresh weight 63.84 g / plant .
