Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of institutional ownership, the growth of the company's dividend policy and debt on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Period from 2009 to 2011 in terms of financial and non-financial factors. The population consists of 121 companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2009-2011. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling method. Obtained sample size of 21 companies, with 63 sample pooling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regressionThe results indicate that financial factors: institutional ownership (DER) and growth (GROWTH) effect on debt policy found on the company's manufacturing, while the dividend policy (DPR) has no effect on firm value and non-financial factors: a higher institutional ownership will be smaller, while the use of debt in the company's dividend policy does not affect debt policy as a result of the increase in retained earnings which increase the borrowing capacity of the company to increase the debt can be a guarantee that the company is able to pay interest and principal while the principal debt policy affects the growth of the company because the company requires large funds and funds from external sources, namely debts. Influence of institutional ownership, growth companies and dividend policies and measures to be considered in making policy on corporate debt.
