Abstract

This research identify the used of multidimensional performance measurement system in financial institution especially banking sector. This paper explores performance measurement of both financial aspect and non financial aspect of State-Owned Banks in Padang as the capital city of West Sumatra. Since such factors might be considered non financial in the short term but considered to be financial in the longer term, this paper find out the sequence of linkage in overall performance. It discovers the degree of importance for both financial measurement and non financial measurement and how it correlates each other. Qualitative research is conducted for this research by having direct interview with the representative of banks. Based on the method used, it found how the awareness of financial aspect and non financial aspect measures. It is figured out that the implementation of non-financial performance does receive the same degree of importance as financial performance measures.
