Abstract
ABSTRACT This research aim at investigating the impact of capital structure on company performance. The sample consists of 123 non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2017 period using a purposive sampling method as a sampling technique. For hypotheses testing, this research use panel data regression analysis. The result shows that capital structure using total debt ratio (TDR) as the proxy has negative and significant impact to company performance. Long-term debt ratio (LDR) has negative and significant impact to MBR, but it has a positive and insignificant impact to ROA. Short-term debt ratio (SDR) has positive impact on company performance. The results of this research can contribute to company in choosing the capital structure and improve the company performance.
