Abstract

In this research the writer wants to know about American slang and retrieve data from the Big Mommas (Like Father, Like Son 3) movie that occurs in informal situations among family, friends and colleagues from work. In this movie, the writer took the slang spoken by the characters of this movie and the use of American language that reveals the identity and social backgrounds in the community. Therefore, this research is entitled “American Slang as Found in Big Mommas 3 (Like Father, Like Son) Movie”.
