Abstract

High risk pregnancy is a kind of pregnancy that danger pregnant women and or even die before the birth is delivered. High risk pregnancy can be affected by several factors including the mother’s age, it increases abnormal fetal possibilities that may death. Based on data from WHO, maternal mortality is caused by complications of childbirth and late treatment during pregnancy. In patient who is managed under optimal care and have a good role of family along treatment of high-risk pregnant women so that expect the handling and care become more appropriate and sustainable. The purpose of this report is providing a comprehensive management of nursing care implementation for high-risk pregnancy patient and the application of health education for decision making to prevent further complications. This scientific report uses the case study method, while nursing care is provided using the nursing process approach. The end result of nursing care was seen to increase knowledge about high risk pregnancy, birth planning and parental readiness after three weeks of health education. Suggestions from this report are that health workers could optimize the services for high-risk groups of pregnant women and health examination comprehensively on pregnant women with complications in their working area.
