Abstract

This study identify the antecedents of intention by using technological acceptance model with modified the model by considering trust and computer self-efficacy towards perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use respectively. The data is gathered from a survey of 45 respondent of lecturer’s in faculty of economic Universitas Andalas. The model is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and it’s data is in the form of primary data sourced from the questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly and positively affecting intention of lecturer’s to adopt e-learning in higher education. Perceived ease of use and trust also significantly and positively affecting perceived usefulness. On the other hand, computer self-efficacy have no significant effect on perceived ease of use. Implication, limitations, and direction for future research also provided in the study.
