Abstract

Analisis Permintaan dan Estimasi Willingness to Pay (WTP) terhadap Teknologi Digital Dentistry Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Andalas Oleh : Dora Amelia Yoma (232 0512017) Dosen Pembimbing : Prof. Dr. Elfindri, S.E.,MA ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi digital dentistry telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam sistem pendidikan dan praktik kedokteran gigi modern. Penggunaan teknologi seperti intraoral scanner, computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), virtual articulator dan three-dimensional printing (3D printing) dinilai mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, serta kualitas pembelajaran klinis mahasiswa kedokteran gigi. Namun demikian, implementasi teknologi digital dentistry memerlukan biaya investasi yang relatif tinggi sehingga diperlukan analisis ekonomi terkait permintaan dan kemampuan membayar pengguna terhadap fasilitas tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permintaan mahasiswa serta mengestimasi Willingness to Pay (WTP) terhadap penggunaan teknologi digital dentistry pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Andalas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi manfaat dan efisiensi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap WTP mahasiswa terhadap teknologi digital dentistry (p<0,05). Hambatan biaya juga menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan mahasiswa dalam membayar penggunaan fasilitas digital dentistry. Sementara itu, variabel pengetahuan dan tahapan pendidikan menunjukkan hubungan positif namun tidak seluruhnya signifikan secara statistik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memandang teknologi digital dentistry sebagai investasi pendidikan yang mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kesiapan menghadapi perkembangan praktik kedokteran gigi modern.
