Abstract

Globalization and the development of information and communication technology knowledge have influenced and brought implications for change and renewal in people's lives. Manufacturing companies must have a good order management system to achieve customer satisfaction. The company has certain production strategies in the production process. Companies that use the Make-to-Order production type, produce the products after an order is made. Process activities based on consumer orders. Companies with MTO strategies have advantages in customer flexibility in determining the demand based on direct orders. One of the competitive keys of an MTO company is that consumers receive orders on time as promised by the company. The time of receipt of orders by consumers is called the received date. Conventional MTO companies do not have a good system in determining the received date. Activities that run on MTO companies in SMIs are still classified as conventional. The absence of digitization results in processes that are carried out manually. designing an application that helps digitalization of order management process and determine accurate received dates to be applied dynamically to MTO companies. The steps taken in this study consisted of designing an application using the Agile method. Received Date calculations using the LOMC method. The last stage of application design in this research is to do the testing process using the black box testing method. The results of research on the design of order management applications show that applications designed can help digitize the order management process at the company. The application has been tested by doing verification and validation to ensure the functionality of the application. The application can help the user to recap the data of the company, search the desired data, and making a report. The application can help manage orders in MTO companies in general. So that, MTO companies can process data effectively and efficiently. Besides all the advantages, the application has some weaknesses like limited access to the application, cannot cover all production flow, and cannot perform a lot of customization when selecting the product. Keywords: agile, application, black-box, LOMC, make-to-order, order, received date,
