Abstract

This research is the development of methods of analysis of a-mangostin in the blood plasma in vitro by using High Performance Liquid Chromatography instrument. In this research, optimization of sample preparation by liquid-liquid extraction methods using organic solvents diethyl ether, ethyl acetate, and dichlormetan, followed by validation of a- mangostin in the analysis of blood plasma in vitro by means of High Performance Liquid Chromatography. Optimum analytical conditions were obtained using Sunfire ® 018 column (5 Im; 250 x 4.6 mm),mobile phase mixtine of0.4% formic acid: acetonitrile(20; 80), flow rate of 1 mL / min, with the raw rubraxanthon, and 243 nm wavelength. Linear calibration curve from 100 to 6000 ng / ml. Method validation results indicate that the accuracy of -9.11 to 12.24% and the precision is 1.36 to 4.61%, and the recovery value of90.89 to 112.24%
