Abstract

The amount of information contained on the internet today has grown much in line widi the development of the intemet. Indirectly, it also adds the amount and the length of the URL. So that will probably happen difficulties to share the information that contained in the Intemet In this final task, will be built a web-based URL shortener application that enables intemet users who want to shorten the URL and shared to oAer users. The long URL before can be shorter after processed by this application. URL shortener application is made by using PHP programming language, AJAX technology and MySQL database. Implementation of this URL Shortener application is expected to allow users to share information with one another.
