Abstract

The antifungal activity of hexane extract and hexane depigmentation extract of Tapak Liman {Elephantopus scaber Linn) leaves against Trichophylon rubrum and Microsporum canis which were isolated from dermatophytosis patients in RSUP DR. M. Djamil Padang, was been tested using agar diffusion method. It showed that both of extracts inhibited the growth of T. rubrum as the biggest inhibition zone was given at 250 mg/mL concentration were 10^ and 10,3 mm.Both of extracts had no inhibition to the growth of M cams.
