Abstract

The current study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial competencies, motivation and transformational leadership on SME's firm performance in Padang. The data were drawn from Man, Lau and Shape (2008), Braunstein (1976), Levenson (1981), Mohhamed and Sanda (2011) and Bass and Avallo (1995). It is a quantitative research. SPSS 15.0 was used to analyze the data. There are 150 respondents as participant of this study. The hypothesis was tested using regression analysis. The study found the entrepreneurial competencies do not significantly influence the performance of Small Medium Enterprises then, this research also found that entrepreneurial motivations are positively influence the performance of Small Medium Enterprises, and transformational leadership do not significantly influence the performance of Small Medium Enterprises in Padang.
