Abstract

This research is purposed to identify the correlation between public service advertisements and the use of contraception equipment (KB). This research also aims to determine the level of correlation between public service advertisements and the use of contraception equipment (KB). The method used in this research is associative quantitative. The object of this research is productive women who use KB in Desa Seberang Cengar. There are 38 respondents selected using purposive sampling and survey methods. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with SPSS 16.0. The results show that the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted, with a Chi-Square value of 3.960, a correlation level of 43%, and a significance value of 12.28. This means that there is a low level of correlation between public service advertisements and the use of contraception equipment (KB), and the correlation between public service advertisements and the use of contraception equipment (KB) is significant.
