Abstract

ABSTRAK UTARI ANIMI, 1310812012, Jurusan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Andalas Padang. Judul Skripsi: Pandangan Masyarakat Terhadap Residivis di Nagari Ujung Gading Kecematan Lembah Melintang Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Pembimbing 1: Dra. Nini Anggaraini, M.Pd dan Pembimbing II: Machdaliza Masri, SH.M.Si. Pandangan masyarakat terhadap residivis yang terjadi di Nagari Ujung Gading tentu menimbulkan berbagai tanggapan dari masyarakat, baik pandangan positif maupun negatif ,kemudian pandangan masyarakat dalam menanggapi permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini melatarbelakangi dengan pandangan masyarakat terhadap residivis di Nagari Ujung Gading. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Mendeskripsikan latar belakang keluarga residivis, 2) Mendeskripsikan pandangan masyarakat terhadap residivis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif. Informan dipilh menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dalam mengumpulkan data digunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, dalam pengumpulan data digunakan teknik wawancara mendalam. Teori Paradigmana Definisi Sosial menyatakan bahwa tindakan manusia menjadi satu hubungan sosial apabila manusia memberikan arti atau makna tertetu terhadap tindakannya, Persepsi juga merupakan suatu proses untuk penilian, tanggapan, pandangan dan pengamatan atau fakta. Dalam pelaksanaannya setiap individu mempunyai kemampuan presepsi masing-masing sesuai dengan pemahaman dan pengetahuan pada objek, persepsi mengemukakan bahwa suatu yang dapat mengorganisasikan pengamatan terhadap objektivatas. Informan penelitian berjumlah 14 orang yang terdiri dari 4 keluarga pelaku, 3 tokoh masyarakat dan 7 tetanggan residivis. Mereka ditunjuk sebagai informan karena mereka mempunyai informasi yang cukup banyak mengenai permasalahan ini. Dari hasil penelitian ini pandangan masyarakat terhadap residivis. Pandangan masyarakat disini bersifat negatif yang ditandai ketidak setujuan masyarakat terhadap residivis dilingkungan masyarakat. Sedangkan dari sikap positif masyarakat terhadap residivis dilihat dari simpati masyarakat terhadap keluarga residivis. Berbagai tanggapan luar dari masyarakat yang menggangap residivis suatu kejahatan yang dapat membahayakan lingkungan mereka, hal ini terlihat dari berbagai pandangan masyarakat terhadap residivis. Dalam pembahasan ini keluarga juga berperen penting dalam perkembangan residivis dan perhatian yang perlu dalam menanggapi residivis. Baik dalam pergaulan bersama masyarakat dilingkungan tempat residivis tinggal maupun diluar masyarakat. The community's view of the recidivists that occurred in Nagari Ujung Gading certainly led to various responses from the community, both positive and negative views, then the views of the community in responding to the problem. This research is motivated by people's views on recidivists in Nagari Ujung Gading. The purpose of this study is 1) Describe the background of the recidivist family, 2) Describe the public's view of recidivists. This research uses a qualitative method with descriptive research type. Informants are selected using purposive sampling techniques, in collecting data used in-depth interview techniques, in data collection used in-depth interview techniques. Paradigmana Theory of Social Definitions states that human action becomes a social relationship if humans give a specific meaning or meaning to their actions, Perception is also a process for evaluation, response, views and observations or facts. In its implementation each individual has the ability of each perception in accordance with the understanding and knowledge of the object, perception suggests that something that can organize observations of objectivity. Research informants numbered 14 people consisting of 4 perpetrators' families, 3 community leaders and 7 recidivist neighbors. They were appointed as informants because they had quite a lot of information about this problem. From the results of this study the public's view of recidivists. The views of the people here are negative which are marked by people's disapproval of the recidivises in the community. While the positive attitude of the community towards recidivists is seen from the sympathy of the community towards recidivist families. Various external responses from people who consider recidivists a crime that can endanger their environment, this can be seen from the various views of the community towards recidivists. In this discussion the family also plays an important role in the development of recidivists and the attention needed to respond to recidivists.
