Abstract

Objectives The purpose this study was to prove the relationship of implementation kadarzi with children under-five nutritional status on ages 12-59 months. Method A quantitative study with cross-sectional design. The population's has chilren under-five on ages 12-59 months, has taken in systematic random sampling. The study conducted in march 2014, in area community Public Health Center Payolansek Distric West Payakumbuh. The data was colleted through interview method and questionnare with measuring toddlers of height and weight directly. The data analysis through univariate and bivariate. Bevariate analysis using chi-square test, with a = 0,05 Result Bivariate analysis showed there was no significant relation beetwen implementation kadarzi with children under five nutritional status on ages 12-59 months based on indicator of height for age (occurrence stunting toddlers), but there was significant relation beetwen implementation kadarzi with children under five nutritional status on ages 12-59 months based on indicator weight for heigh (occurrence wasting toddlers). Conclusion There was no significant relation beetwen implementation kadarzi with children under five nutritional status on ages 12-59 months based on indicator of height for age (occurrence stunting toddlers), but there was significant relation beetwen implementation kadarzi with children under five nutritional status on ages 12-59 months based on indicator weight for heigh (occurrence wasting toddlers). The suggestion for Public Health Center to give appripriate intervention for nutritional problem for stunting and wasting toddlers.
