Abstract

The purposes of this study are to analyze breakeven point and profit of the business and to investigate the problems faced by the business in order to develop the business. This study was conducted in April - May 2012 by using descriptive analysis and the data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitativly. The finding shows that during the research period, UP3HP Sejahtera sold 380 boxes of carrot brownies. With a price of Rp 10.000,- / box, during the research period the business obtained a profit of Rp 1,033,300.63. Furthermore the business reached its breakeven point at production level of 81 boxes with a selling value of Rp 813,449.34. Based on the finding it is suggested to UP3HP Sejahtera to pay more attention to technical and economic aspects in order to thrive and survive in the future. From the technical point of view, UP3HP leader should be caable to maximize the performance of the group members in order to obtain the maximum results in the future. Meanwhile From an economic perspective, the business should make a detailed financial records so that the business growth cen be seen clearly.
