Abstract

Human rights are the basic rights of human life in the running life. Coupled with the international recognition of human rights increase the gain is so high in recognition of the basic right to life. But in the other side, there are groups who feel discrimination on the rights they have. One of the groups is LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transsexual) group. This group is discriminated against on the basis of his right to sexual orientation that they have considered different from most. ILGA (International Lesbian Gay Association) as an international organization which is responsible for LGBT people from all over the world trying to fight for LGBT rights in order to gain recognition in the international order, United Nations. This research will analyze how ILGA efforts in the fight for LGBT rights of the United Nations through the strategic concept of social movement who see that the social movements will start from the issue, chosen arena for fighting and tactics used in fighting for what want to achieve. The tactic itself will be lowered again into the three elements of common concern, the target, as well as action. Through the use of the concept of the answers obtained from this research question.
