Abstract

This study uses sociological juridical method, the method of approach used is an empirical law approach (socio legal research), or field research. This study was to determine how the process of cancellation land certificates in Padang State Administrative Court, legal impact of the certificate cancellation to the canceled certificate holder, and legal protection to the plaintiff who win the claim related to ownership and control of the land. Based on research results, the establishment of Padang State Administrative Court in accordance with the instruction of Keputusan Presiden Nomor 16 Tahun 1992 concerning The Establishment of State Administrative Courts in Bandung, Semarang, and Padang. Court decisions that declare the winning of plaintiffi in land dispute at the administrative court causing a huge law consequence, including to the holder of the canceled certificate by the court decision. Inkracht court decision can't restore the pl^tifPs right in having and control the land that being the subject of dispute, the plaintiffs did not obtain the legal protection oftheir land.
