Abstract

Globalization of Korean culture, or Hallyu spread throughout the world including Indonesia. Boy bands and girl bands are one characteristic of Korean music, or better known as K-pop. Lots ofK - popfan club calledfandom. such as e Shinee World for Shinee. From all of those K-pop artists, researchers chose Shinee not only because they have largefanbase, but also young artist who idolized by most ofthe teenagers who tend to be unstable psychological level. Manyfanatical things they do to support their favorite idol. The spread of Hallyufever in the world can^t be separated from the aspect ofmass communication, which is meant here is Youtube . YouTube became a media access that is always on, when the fans are online to find out information about their idol. Then came up fanatic activities from Shinee World Indonesia. The purpose of this study to determine the motives and behavior of fanatical actsfrom Shinee World with Youtube as media. Which is the object of this research is Shinee World Indonesia as a fan ofthe group. This studyfrom the perspective constructivism, using a qualitative approach to the tradition of phenomenology is based on the theory ofsociai phenomenology by Alfred Schutz. Results and discussion in this study is the meaning of fanaticism Shinee World Indonesia based psychological ownership as a motive for the fans to behave fanatic. Celebrity Worship behavior interpreted as a form of fanaticism. can be seen through the activities on theirpersonal action through YouTube as media.
