Abstract

Visa Free Policy ASEAN visit to increase relations between ASEAN countries and to increase foreign exchange of ASEAN member countries. However, because the special facilities provided to foreign citizens not only bring benefits to Indonesia, they also have a negative impact in the form of losses. In the form of violations and the use of Free Visa Visits that are not in accordance with the regulations set by irresponsible foreign nationals. One of the places where these violations occur is within the working area of the Padang Class I Immigration Office, so to anticipate such matters it feels necessary to be monitored by the authorities. This study was conducted to answer questions related to these matters: 1. How to supervise Padang Class I Immigration Office against the use of visa-free visits to violations of Visa Free Visits by the colors of foreign countries within the ASEAN framework according to International Law and Indonesian National Law: 2. How is the application of penalties for misuse of visa-free visits conducted in the City of Padang. The research method used is Juridical Empirical by conducting interviews with the Immigration Office and researching materials obtained from library studies. Legal oversight of the implementation of Visa Free Visits is not specifically regulated in the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Visa Exemption but is regulated by the State's own National Law. The punishment carried out by Padang Class I Immigration is in accordance with Indonesian National Law, namely giving sanctions as stipulated in the relevant Laws and Regulations Keywords: Supervision, Visa Free, ASEAN, Padang City
