Abstract
Water loss is the main problem that occurs in the Musnau Water Revitalization work in Pinang Belapis and North Lebong Districts. Water loss can be defined as the difference between the recorded amount of water entering the system and the recorded amount of water leaving the system. In a drinking water supply system, not all of the water produced by the installation reaches consumers. Usually there are leaks here and there which is called water loss. The national tolerance standard for PDAM clean water leakage rates is according to Minister of Public Works Regulation Number 20/PRT/M/2006, namely a maximum water loss of 20%. Of course, achieving this target is not easy, because in reality analyzing the number of physical leaks in the drinking water supply system is difficult to carry out. The aim of this research is to analyze technical and non-technical water loss factors. By collecting data in the field using quantitative methods, several data were obtained which were used to process the remaining pressure calculation data using the EPANET 2.2 application, so that the remaining pressure was obtained which should be maximized on the Air Musnau network system for Pinang Belapis and North Lebong Districts.
