Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aplikasi pupuk organik cair daun Azolla yang paling efektif terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di main nursery. Percobaan disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 taraf perlakuan, dan 3 ulangan, sehingga diperoleh 15 satuan percobaan. Dalam satu satuan percobaan terdiri dari 4 tanaman, sehingga diperoleh 60 tanaman. Adapun perlakuan adalah sebagai berikut: 0 ml, 100 ml, 200 ml, 300 ml, dan 400 ml pupuk organik cair daun Azolla. Variabel yang diamati yaitu analisis tanah awal, pertambahan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun terbentuk, panjang daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, dan panjang akar tanaman. Hasil percobaan menunjukan pupuk organik cair daun Azolla memberi pengaruh yang baik terhadap semua variabel pengamatan bibit kelapa sawit di main nursery dengan dosis terbaik yaitu 100 ml/polibag. Kata Kunci: Azolla, Main Nursery, Kelapa Sawit, Pertumbuhan, Pupuk Organik Cair. The objective of this study was to determine the most effective application ofliquid organic fertilizer from azolla leaves on the growth of oil palm seedlings in themain nursery. This study was an experimental method in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatment levels, and 3 replications, so15experimental plots were obtained. Each plotexperiment consisted of 4 plants, so the total is 60 plant the treatment levels were: 0 ml, 100 ml, 200 ml, 300 ml and 400 ml of azolla liquid organic fertilizer. The variables observed were,soil analysis in the beginning, increased of plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, and rootlength. The results of the study showed that azolla leaves liquid organic fertilizer hadeffects on all variables observed of oil palm seedling in the main nurserywith the best dose of 100 ml/polybag.
