Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Batusangkar Livestock Market in Cubadak Village 2002-2022". This study explains the livestock trading activities at the Batusangkar Livestock Market. Explains the relocation of the livestock market to several places until finally in Cubadak Village. There was a change in the payment method for fees to enter the Batusangkar Livestock Market from initially using a manual payment method with blank paper to changing to using a digital payment method via an application in 2021. This is the reference for the author in explaining the Batusangkar Livestock Market. This research is included in socio-economic history research. This research uses a historical method consisting of four stages. The first stage is heuristics, which is the activity of collecting data sources from archives and data from interviews. The second stage is the criticism of the sources that have been obtained. The third stage is interpretation or interpretation, which is related to the dissemination and interpretation related to the facts that have been obtained. The fourth stage is historiography or writing history. This study can be concluded that Batusangkar Livestock Market has existed since the 1960s, established in the Ros Meleng area until finally moving locations five times until finally settling in Cubadak Village.
