Abstract

This research empirically examines the effect of fiscal decentralization and employment on poverty levels in West Sumatra during periods 2001-2012. Generalized Method of Moment is the method used in this research. The data obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics, and other sources that in research result and Journals. The result show the degree of fiscal decentralization and employment have significant and negatively effect poverty levels in West Sumatera. This mean increasing the degree of fiscal decentralization and employment reduce the poverty in West Sumatera
