Abstract
This study discusses the Security sector Reform in resolving post-conflict sexual harassment in Haiti. The Haitian conflict occurred because of a ruling the dictatorship from Duvalier that caused a lot of violence and crisis in Haiti. The dictatorship carried out by President Duvalier prompted the United Nations to carry out a mission called MINUSTAH. In carrying out this mission the UN peacekeeping forces made a new problem regarding sexual abuse of children. This study aims to explain the UN's efforts to address sexual harassment committed by peacekeeping forces. This research is discussed using the concept of security sector reform in several stages with qualitative methods. The results of the study go through four steps carried out by Security Sector Reform namely demilitarization of peacekeeping forces by adding peace forces in Haiti and punishing troops who commit acts of abuse. Second, strengthening civilian control by urging the Haitian government to form a national police force. Third, professionalization of peacekeeping forces by regulating peace forces in Haiti and fourth, by strengthening the rule of law by reforming existing laws in Haiti and MINUSTAH by changing the legal system in the peacekeeping forces.
