Abstract
Supply chain risk analysis is essential to a company's ability to operate sustainably and at its best. Effective risk mitigation strategies are firmly based on the identification of potential risks, which vary from the procurement of raw materials to the distribution of finished products. Risk analysis and supply chain are two things that are closely related. A company needs to conduct a supply chain risk analysis with the aim of assisting the company or organization in identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks that may affect its objectives. In summary, risk analysis in the supply chain is not only necessary but also an essential aspect of strategic decision-making that sustains the enterprise's long-term resilience, sustainability, and success. This problem also occurs in tempeh producers in Padang City, one of which is Tempe Azaki. Tempe processing activities certainly have obstacles that will interfere with the course of business. These obstacles are risks that threaten the company's business activities. Risks in the Tempe Azaki supply chain occur in the procurement of raw materials, the production process, tempe distribution, retailers, and from the consumer side. This study aims to analyze the supply chain risks in Tempe Azaki and formulate appropriate risk mitigation to reduce the risks that occur in the supply chain in Tempe Azaki. The method used in this research is Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA). This method is used to determine the level of risk that is prioritized from the risks that occur at Tempe Azaki. Based on the results of risk identification that occurs in the supply chain at Tempe Azaki, there are 39 risks that occur from suppliers to consumers. Based on the calculation of the risk priority level, there are four prioritized risks, namely tempeh is not fermented properly, the machine is damaged, insufficient plastic raw materials, and uneven packaging. Based on the results of the fishbone diagram analysis, twelve risk mitigation proposals were obtained that will be given to these prioritized risks. In addition, for each supply chain actor in Tempe Azaki who has the risk with the highest RPN value, risk mitigation proposals are also given. There are 8 risk mitigation proposals provided. This research is expected to help the owner of Tempe Azaki to identify the risks that occur when running his business in order to remain competitive in the industrial world.
