Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Government Investment on tourism, Private Investment on tourism, number of tourist visits and policies in Own Source Revenue in Pesisir Selatan of West Sumatra province in 2008-2022. This research uses secondary data by applying a quantitative approach method. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the tourism office (DISPARPORA) and Regional Asset Finance Agency (BKAD) in Pesisir Selatan during the 2008-2022 period. The analysis model used is multiple linear regression analysis with Stata software. The estimation results show that Government Investment on tourism and private investment on tourism has no effect in Own Source Revenue, the variables of number of tourist visits and policies has a positive and significant effect in Own Source Revenue and the variables of government investment on tourism, private investment on tourism, number of tourist visits and policies together influence in Own Source Revenue of Pesisir Selatan.
