Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF COMMUNITY PERCEPTION AND EMOTIONAL SOLIDARITY ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT WITH COMMUNITY SUPPORT AS A MEDIATION VARIABLE IN TOURISM VILLAGE: CASE ON GREEN TALAO PARK, WEST SUMATRA Thesis by Putri Mentari Supervisor: Sari Lenggogeni, S.E., M.M., Pg.Dipl., Ph.D., and Dr. Maruf, S.E., M.Bus., M.Phil ABSTRACT The purpose of this literature review article is to examines the travel behavior of Indonesian tourists in Green Talao Park, Ulakan Tapakis District, West Sumatra, this literature is intended to understand the views of community perception, emotional solidarity, and sustainable tourism development by using Social Exchange Theory (SET). This type of study is classified as explanatory research, The sample in this study is the community around the Green Talao Park tourist attraction in Nagari Ulakan, Padang Pariaman. In this study, the researcher uses the non-probability method with the consideration timing and cost constraints associated with a large population. The criteria for respondents in this study are resident around Green Talao Park, resident of Nagari Ulakan, and be at least 17 years old. Community Perceptions have a positive and significant effect on the Sustainability of Tourism Development This study makes a unique contribution to literature by considering the role of community perception and emotional solidarity for sustainable tourism development. It is hoped that the conclusions from the results of this study can be used by policy makers in making decisions. Religious values that are interesting to be discussed as part of a community are new things in research on the object of this research.
