Abstract

ABSTRACT Abridge is a structure made to cross ravines or obstacles such as rivers, valleys, and even the sea. Bridges as land transportation routes, apart from being used for pedestrians and roads, can also be used for trains. Bridge structural components are parts of the bridge that receive, carry and distribute bridge loads to the bridge supporting ground so that the bridge is strong and stable. These components are the upper structure which consists of backrests, floor plates and girder beams, then the lower structure which consists of abutments, pillars , wingwalls, and foundations. Bridge Location: The construction of the steel frame bridge uses well foundations in Tanjung Agung Palik Village, North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province, which connects Jalan Tanjung Palik with Jalan Kerkap. Initially the bridge with a span of 145 m was designed with a lower arch type, then in this final project a re-planning was carried out using a steel plate girder type, namely using profile I. The re-planning of the Sardjito II Bridge included planning for the abutments, bridge floor, steel plate girders, pillars , abutment, foundation, and Cost Budget Plan (RAB). The re-planning of the Sardjito II Bridge begins with determining the structural specifications used including the type of bridge, quality of concrete and tensile strength of the steel used, as well as determining the working loads based on the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specification 2007. The results of the re-planning of the Sardjito II Bridge are safe from the actions/loads that occur. Meanwhile for the RAB of the Sardjito II Bridge, the results of the re-planning using steel plate girders are apparently more expensive than the RAB of the current bridge. However, the steel bridge has an advantage, namely its relatively short implementation time. faster than a concrete bridge.
