Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance with the mediating role of employee engagement in employees of PT Pegadaian Area Padang. To analyze the relationship between these variables, this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS). In conclusion, there is a direct and significant influence between talent management and employee performance of PT Pegadaian Area Padang. For this reason, it is necessary to strengthen talent management practices: because talent management has a direct and significant effect on employee performance, companies can consider strengthening talent management practices. This could include internal talent identification and development, training, and a more structured career development program.
