Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of gross regional domestic product (GRDP), poverty, female labor force participation rate and gini ratio on human development index (HDI) in Indonesia. The research has been tested using panel data that cover 33 provinces of Indonesia during five years period (2012-2016). Based on panel data test, the writer found two major findings. Firstly, gross regional domestic product and female labor force participation rate have positive and significant influence on human development index of Indonesia. Another finding is, poverty and gini ratio have negative and significant influence on human development index of Indonesia. This means that the research support the theoretical perspective.
