Abstract
EFFECT OF LIQUID ORGANIC FERTILIZER NASA ON GROWTH OF SEEDLINGS OIL PALM IN THE MAIN NURSERY Abstract This research was conducted in the experimental garden of Andalas University Campus III, Dharmasraya from August to December 2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth response of oil palm seedlings to the administration liquid organic fertilizer NASA and determine the best dose of liquid organic fertilizer NASA for oil palm seedlings. This study used a completely randomized design with 6 treatments (175, 350, 525, 700, and 875 ml/polybag) and 4 replicates. Statistical analysis used the F-test at the 5% significance level, followed by Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test also at the 5% significance level. Administration of liquid organic fertilizer NASA showed significant effect on plant height and leaf width, whereas the leaf length, leaf number, and diameter of the hump no significant effect.
