Abstract
The aims of this study was to determine the effect of urbanization to the economic growth around countries in the world and analyzing factors that can influence the urbanization. The data used in this study are panel data (10 year time series data and cross section data with period as many as 182 countries around the world). The analytical method used in this study by using Pool Least Square (PLS) analysis. Based on the estimation results, the urbanization has positive impact to the economic growth and also other variables such as school enrolment, Population in productive age, and export is significantly influence growth and urbanization
