Abstract

An increase in the number of vehicles from year to year has increased significantly. Increasing the number of vehicles will cause congestion, especially during rush hours. Congestion will be worsened if the drivers do not comply with traffic signs while crossing the intersection. To overcome these problems required proper and effective traffic management. Automatic and efficient traffic light systems are needed where this system will reduce the congestion that occurs at the intersection. To reduce congestion at road junctions it is necessary to adjust the duration of each traffic light based on the queue length at the intersection. Detecting the length of the queue is used by three sensors placed at a certain distance which will indicate the congestion level at the intersection. Results of sensor readings will be sent raspberry pi to regulate the life of traffic lights. To monitor or monitor the situation at the intersection requires an application that can be accessed by everyone like the website. The website will display a picture of the state and level of congestion at the intersection at a certain hour. Control of traffic light duration of each intersection using fuzzy logic. The test is done to detect the length of the queue of the vehicle by the sensor, the sensor readings and the resulting images from the webcam will be entered into the website.
